Discuss transport and unloading

Pole Shaft: Confirm the conical, square or polygonal section and exact steel grade in the approved drawing. Request material and fabrication documents for the supplied configuration.

Finish: Namkoo can quote galvanizing with an optional paint or powder topcoat. Specify the colour and coating requirements for the project.

Top Fittings: Identify side-entry or top-mounted luminaires and specify any cap, spigot and cable opening required by the assembly.

Anchor Set: Specify bolt grade, diameter, embedment, projection and coating from the foundation drawing. Confirm nuts, washers and setting template in the supply scope.

Baseplate: Match bolt circle, plate thickness and hole dimensions to the approved anchor design. Confirm weld details and installation tolerances.

Base Cover: Specify a cover if required for the project.

Access Door: Confirm service-door position, dimensions and fastening method. Provide sufficient access for the specified wiring and accessories.

Earthing Connection: Confirm the earth terminal and connection hardware in the electrical installation details.
Electrical Fittings: List terminal blocks, protective devices and mounting rails separately. Check their ratings and space requirements before manufacture.

Confirm freight and unloading

Pole Section: Select the section profile and grade from the structural design. Include outreach, luminaire weight and wind area; confirm material documents rather than assuming listed grades or standards are interchangeable.

Coating Scope: Namkoo can review the required finish for the shaft, bracket and anchor hardware. Confirm which surfaces are galvanized or painted and how any site damage will be repaired.

Top Interface: Check the luminaire entry diameter, bracket attachment and cap arrangement. Include cable openings and weather sealing in the assembly drawing.

Anchor Dimensions: Match anchor diameter, length, thread projection and bolt circle to the foundation and baseplate. Confirm the steel grade, coating and supplied nuts and washers.

Baseplate Interface: Check plate thickness, hole dimensions and weld details before manufacture. The anchor template must correspond to the final approved plate drawing.

Optional Cover: Confirm cover dimensions and inclusion in the quote.

Cable Access: Set the door position and opening size around the electrical components while maintaining the approved pole design. Confirm cover fastening and service access.

Earth Terminal: Specify the connection location and hardware for the project earthing arrangement.
Internal Accessories: Agree whether electrical terminals, fuses or circuit-breaker rails are included. Check their ratings and installation space separately from the steelwork.
